Amazingly, I bought this little device over 1 year ago. It has been continuously plugged-in & working flawlessly ever since! I literally use it daily with Alexa voice commands to control multiple devices around the house. I control my TV; ceiling fan; mini-split AC Unit; and a bunch of cheap IR outlet plugs that I have connected around the house. At first, the phone App used to be clunky and weird-looking, but now it feels and looks more polished. However, I rarely use the app since I have all devices controlled by voice or automated routines.
This little device connects via WiFi and can basically learn the signals of any RF or IR remote controls. You point the remote to the Broadlink and it learns it.

But once I got it very happy. It works perfectly with air conditioning and television in the same room. I have to investigate how it connects with radio frequency. When I get it, I’ll update the review.

I’ve been looking for a device like this for about 3 months. I finally found it and it is incredible. I’m relatively new to smart home integration and automation so when I first started buying devices I definitely made some mistakes. One of those being buying things that aren’t smart and having an I’ll figure it out later mentality. Whoops lol. This device took away the headaches of fully replacing lights, short range radio devices, and ir devices that aren’t smart. Relatively simple process to install, sync up to your devices, then add to your smart home hub. I love it & I’m going to buy 2 more for my home to make some ac’s smart…. Love it!

I use it to control my home cinema via Alexa.
Since my devices did not appear in the list of known devices, I have to learn all the functions myself. This is very easy and works without any problems.
Only switching off the projector does not always work 100% (via Alexa) as the power button has to be pressed twice.
(routine in Alexa: power button; wait 5 seconds; power button) Linking was child’s play
with the Broadlink and Alexa app on the phone.
All in all, I’m very satisfied

really easy to add control functions manually, I bought a fan whose control is via RF and it was easy for me to incorporate the functions manually into the device, and then pass it on to Alexa with the final idea of doing it in Home Assistant.
